The best micro RC collective pitch helicopter gets even better! Like the Nano CP S model before it, the Blade® Nano S2 heli lays a path to 3D aerobatic expertise that’s paved for success — with new features, including a redeveloped stabilizing system, that make challenging maneuvers such as flips and inverted flight easy for pilots at all skill levels to master.
Blade developers first brought SAFE® stabilizing technology to the Nano heli platform with the Nano CP S. If pilots felt disoriented, all they needed to do was press the Panic Recovery button. SAFE technology immediately came to the rescue, locking the model in a perfectly level attitude.
Now the Nano S2 micro introduces more innovations for even greater stability and confidence-building control. The custom-tuned AS3X® system at the heart of its SAFE technology has been improved. So has the performance of the SAFE Angle Demand and Panic Recovery features. New to the Nano platform, SAFE Z Altitude Control uses the heli’s on-board accelerometer to maintain a consistent altitude. And the new flight controller has been mounted vertically to improve damping and remove vibration to the gyro.
As a result, the Nano S2 is easier to control than ever, and the performance is dazzling. Like the previous Blade Nano models, this one is full of aerobatic tricks. Its collective pitch design accommodates everything from gentle hovering to daring, advanced maneuvers. Strong coreless motors and a 45C LiPo flight battery produce capable power for 3D flight. Linear servos deliver the muscle for impressive control authority.
Construction with super-resilient polymers along with a carbon-fiber main shaft and tail boom give the model’s lightweight airframe amazing durability. Most impacts that occur while practicing 3D maneuvers cause no harm. If you do happen to need a repair, nearly all of the parts from the Nano CP S are compatible with the new Nano S2.

micro heli battery disconnection during flight, and repair
I was filming a flight of my ecoman microgear Schweitzer helicopter when it fell out of the sky after loosing power, when I opened up the canopy I noticed the negative battery wire had disconnected from its solder point. Fortunately I was able to re solder it. This was my first time to ever solder anything so it wasn’t pretty but it works. After the battery was re soldered, everything works just fine.
I have had two Styrofoam body picoo z helicopters from silverlit and neither worked as well as my ecoman microgear heli, Even though it has had problems they wear all fixable. Silverlit should really do a plastic body version of the picoo z, it would make it a lot easier for people to work on.

Blade mCX trim repair
There is a horse-shoe shaped piece of plastic higher than the swashplate that requirements to be flush or extremely around flush to the top of the swashplate. It rises from time to time, and will trigger you to counteract it with severe trim postitions. Mine have been at complete down and entire still left aileron. RC helis, HBK2 and others- repair your plastic linkages in a fix..With test flight..
Ok, so I keep having small pieces of plastic snap on me, so I keep fixing them until they either no longer break or no longer contain enough of the original piece to continue considering it a ‘repair’ and not a ‘full fabrication’ 🙂 I will show you some of my favorite stuff to fix things with from around the house to parts on your helis, hell the possibilities are endless. What you need- Polyurethane casting resin (I use Max CLR, cheap and effective- look up the specs online to see what it can do!) plastic cups rubber gloves cardboard or paper for work surface (This stuff is messy and it will never come out!) Mixing cup (disposable cups of various sizes work best, you will not be able to use your mixing cup again after this, so go cheap and disposable) something to mix with, plastic knife or similar spatula-like utensil. Flat works best to keep air bubbles out of the mixture. Tinfoil or some sort of release-paper/film Something that is broken Something to grind and sand with- dremel tool is recommended Patience Carbon fiber helps…is sometimes necessary to fix thin pieces of plastic to original strength. I had to use a sliver of scrap carbon fiber to fix this link, the urethane may have been strong enough on its own, had I not reassembled things too quickly and given her a test spool-up, which promptly undid all of the work you see in the vid, but in about 10 minutes I had another batch mixed and I did the same thing only this time to be safe I ground one side of the …
