A nice slice of humble pit was delivered during this video when Nate had a brutal rc helicopter crash with the Blade 230 S Smart RTF rc heli. He was progressing so well with his rolls out of safe, and then out of no where he hit the ground. He was so bummed, but its part of the hobby. Progress was made and we cannot wait to see him behind the sticks of another RC heli soon.

Funny how when most people crash a heli, its the helicopters fault. But in your case here, it was clearly the flight controller forgetting where level was at and it crashed itself and you say it was your fault. Is this because Horizon payed you guys for a good review? Just curious.

That is why these small heli's should never ever cost so much . $250 bucks I wont do it .

If you bind it to an nx you can switch on safe for stunt 1 so there's not such a big power drop.

Its like ground hogs day watching you fly helis. Hit HOLD when you are in trouble NOT SAFE. wind up: is called spool up. You really need to join a club w experienced pilots if you want to leave your amateur status in the air. Work on hovering nose in head level. Learn your 'X's drifting head level in all orientations, nose in, sideways…etc. Then do the same at head level inverted in ALL orientations. You do not have your orientations down and this is the reason you crashed. I converted this 230s fuselage to fly it exclusively FPV in my channel. I never learned how to fly line of sight.
