Double Horse 9053 / 9118 Volitation RC Helicopter Fail
Epic 100 metre high Double Horse 9118 RC helicopter FAIL !!!
Filmed using an on board 808 #16 micro HD (720p) camera.
Although I had done all the recommended mods to the helicopter , I had forgotten to set the transmitter switch to the quick setting. As the helicopter got above roof hight the wind took it and I couldn’t get it back.
By now it was so high and so small I couldn’t tell what direction it was pointing.
Then it lost the radio signal and shut down (advertised as 100 metre signal range).
Luckily it came down in some trees on the edge of somebody’s lawn.
Amazingly there was no damage to it or the camera at all.

No , I think the GoPro would be too heavy for it.
Plus it wouldn't fit under the skids
so it wouldn't take the weight of a go pro?
I was really surprised nothing broke. I think the trees broke it's fall 🙂
Hahaha lol that happend to me as well except the whole tail unit snapped when it fell to the ground. The height was easily over 100m

Very small and light, ideal for mounting on R/C Helicopters or Planes.

mine went directly to the pavement and broke it main blade. need spare part now
HaHa ! I did the same thing yesterday. Managed to get it down by giving it a quick burst of throttle and it flicked itself off the branch.
