The Eachine E200 is perhaps one of the best small scale RC helicopters on the market right now due in part to the amazing scale details, combined with the direct drive main motor performance & efficiency. It also flies great!
It is however not for everyone. Why?
Like all finely detailed scale RC helicopters, the Eachine E200 is fragile and harder to work on than a comparable sized pod & boom 200 size collective pitch RC helicopter.
Also like all scale RC helicopters, scale comes at a price premium & costs substantially more than an equivalent, similar size & spec pod & boom collective pitch RC helicopter.
You therefor have to be a scale RC helicopter enthusiast and competent collective pitch RC helicopter pilot in order to appreciate what this amazing scale Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk RC helicopter has to offer without crashing it. The E200 like all scale RC helicopters is no good for learning on.
As you’ll see in this review, the 1/47 scale E200 is an impressive scale heli. It not only looks great statically and up in the air, but it flies amazing well with the smoothness and predictability of larger collective pitch RC helicopters.

Scale RC Helicopter Build – Roban EC130 800 Maiden Flight.
In today’s scale RC helicopter build of the Roban EC130 800 size heli, we’re getting the tested mechanics installed and getting the EC130 airborne.
I’ll be covering important scale RC heli build items such as battery placement, fitting the mechanics, fenestron blade clearance, RX current draw, center of gravity and how not to fry your lighting system.
We’ll then get this big beastie up in the air for the first time with the fuselage fitted, further checking operation, vibration and post flight log data.
By the way, motor to main shaft reduction ratio of the Roban HSM 800 mechanics is 13.8:1. I only mention this because I had a hell of a time finding it, and it’s of course needed for correct head speed calculation in your governor setup.

Align Trex 250 DFC July 4th Maiden flight
Finally got my Align Trex 250 DFC BNF up in the air. My first flight was just a hover, so this is pretty much my maiden flight. Still learning how to fly collective pitch, but i must say that this little heli is quick and powerful compared to what i am use to. I hope you enjoy the video 🙂

Swift Micro Heli Review & Maiden Flight
This 3Ch helicopter is made almost completely of metal! It should be pretty strong and resist most crashes. It also comes with some pretty cool lights. The one bad thing(which is pretty bad if not fixable by moving RX cord around) is that it gets a lot of ‘glitches’ during flight. These cause loses in power, and less control. If it didn’t have that issue, it would be an amazing helicopter for .
***UPDATE*** – After bending/repositioning the antenna it got better signal. There was still a glitch here or there, but nowhere near as bad as during this first flight.
