My First raptor 50 v2 3d hover rc heli
my first ever raptor 50 hover … if I had the money to fix it I would have tryed a forward flight … I told justin I was not going to touch lees chopper if I dont have the money to fix it if I crash it … justin said he would fix it if I crashed .. so I hovered it he would not cover a forward flight lol … I dont blame him these are not cheap to fix …i have started a rc forum for rc pilots to go talk and learn from each other please join me on face book I am trying to bring as many pilots and newcomers to this hobby as I can and with the volume of people on facebook we can really make a community of pilots to gain knowage from.

Phoenix R/C 5 First impressions – GamerMuscle Simulation
Its time to jump in and play Phoenix RC , this RC simulator is supposedly “The professional Radio Control Flight Simulator” and from what people say on the internet its meant to be one of the best.
In this video we load it up take a look and see what you get in the box, this is very much a first impression and as will be immediately apparent I have some way to go in RC flight skills.
For some strange reason they don’t sell phoenix on their own website and you can only buy the game/sim from obscure places but if you want to read up on the sim check out the website http://www.phoenix-sim.com/ and if you want to buy it check out Ebay or your local model shop, but be warned its not cheep !
The version we picked up is the one with the DX5E included which costs between £60-£300 And you thought sim-racing cost the earth !
Non the less its fantastic fun and if you were going to spent 100-4k on a real RC chopper then I’m sure you would want to spend some time on a sim first !

Blade 550X Pro RC Heli – First Flight Ends Bad With a Hard Crash
After losing a Goblin 500, I decided to try again with a bigger heli. The Blade 550X assembled quickly, but I still spend weeks making sure everything was tight and tuned. Apparently it didn’t matter because the second I tried a loop I could hear the motor cut out. I was hoping that it would kick back in, but it didn’t. It just fell and there was nothing I could do to stop it. No more big helis for me. Repair costs are just too much. I am sticking with the 450s and smaller.
