Blade 550X Pro RC Heli – First Flight Ends Bad With a Hard Crash
After losing a Goblin 500, I decided to try again with a bigger heli. The Blade 550X assembled quickly, but I still spend weeks making sure everything was tight and tuned. Apparently it didn’t matter because the second I tried a loop I could hear the motor cut out. I was hoping that it would kick back in, but it didn’t. It just fell and there was nothing I could do to stop it. No more big helis for me. Repair costs are just too much. I am sticking with the 450s and smaller.

Steffen Richter auf der ROTOR Live 2014 in Iffezheim mit dem T-Rex 700 Nitro DFC.
Der Heli ist leider bei Minute 3:10 in der Luft geplatzt nach dem der Heckausleger den Boden berührt hat.
