Syma introduces its newest F3 4 channel fixed pitch helicopter! If you are familiar or have flown the F fleet of choppers, you’ll know exactly how stable it is! The new F3 is equipped with all the awesome features you’ll come to expect from Syma with new features such as onboard gyro, fixed pitch rotor head, and a 2.4ghz LCD transmitter.
The F3 is 4 channel helicopter. This means that it can fly in 8 directions. It will maneuver Up/Down, Forward/Backward, and rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, and strafe left and right. The size of this chopper is suitable for indoor flight in smaller or confined spaces. Its fixed pitch rotor design is naturally stable in flight. Even beginners will find that it will control well. The built-in gyro is able to lock the heading and prevents continuous rotation of the helicopter chassis. The gyroscope is powerful and with the trim adjustment on the transmitter it can be adjusted in flight. What’s impressive is that the helicopter can hover in the air with your hands free from the transmitter.
The radio system included in this package uses 2.4ghz frequency and has the option of flying in 2 joystick layout modes to accommodate users across the globe. With the use of spread spectrum radio frequency technology, the control distance of the chopper is also improved. Unlike infrared systems, you can fly this chopper without having to worry about glass, mirrors, or sunlight interfering with the signal. This type of frequency also allows more helicopters to be flown at the same time. The transmitter also has an LCD screen that displays trim and flight states of the helicopter. A high and low speed switch on the transmitter allows the pilot to control the throttle rate of the chopper for greater or less sensitivity. A 3.7v 150mah Lithium Polymer battery provides good power and about 6-8 minutes of flight time.

I didn’t have much luck with the Syma S34 Chinook helicopter. I had a lot of problems with keeping it trimmed, flying straight, and overall control of it. It defiantly looks cool! The shell of the helicopter is sturdy and highly detailed. It’s too bad it’s flight performance didn’t match it’s overall quality appearance.

On of the best mini rc helicopters out there is the SYMA S6 Mini 3. It’s surprisingly fast for a mini dual rotor helicopter. You will need to be light on the controls inside because of its quick take off! If you’re too quick with the controls you’ll slam into the ceiling or if you’re outside it can easily fly up onto the roof. Flight time was a little over 5 minutes which is impressive! You can even fly the Syma S6 outside if there is no wind and no direct sun!

We took the smallest RC helicopter in the world the Silverlit Nano Falcon over to Sky helicopters in Garland Texas and actually flew it inside a real full sized helicopter.
It handled itself rather well.
The nano falcon is a 3 channel infrared controlled helicopter
it’s gyro stabilized
it flies for about 6 or 7 minutes and charges in about 20 minutes.
It’s very durable and easy to fly.

This is my review of the Syma S6 Mini, 3ch coaxial infrared nano helicopter. They claim this is the “World’s Smallest”, but it is bigger than the Silverlit Nano Falcon. However, it is definitely very small, and it flies a bit better than the Nano Falcon.

This is one of several scale looking rc helicopters that Syma did a great job on. Their other models are the Apache, Coast Guard Airwolf, Black Hawk and Chinook. They all fly pretty much the same, except for the Airwolf and Cobra fly a little faster than the others. All the controls and trim work the same way and you do have a switch on the transmitter that will allow you to fly more than one helicopter at a time.

These some of the easiest and most durable rc helicopters out there and replacement parts are easy to find and cheap. There are a few things to keep in mind to insure you helicopter doesn’t break.
First off is to keep the blades swinging free. If you tilt you helicopter and the blades don’t move then you need to loosen the screw. Second, you never want to apply power when the blades can’t move, so if you crash or if you helicopter tips over, immediately lower the throttle all the way down so the tiny plastic gears inside don’t strip because when those go, the helicopter is pretty much done for. Lastly, let your battery cool down before charging it up again.
If your blades get chipped and dinged, I found that sanding them down and adding a little tape will help with sharp edges.
The included charger needs to be plugged into a USB port and I like to use a USB wall charger so I can charge more than one at a time or if you’re someone who has a lot of electronics, extra usb ports are always welcome.
