Is it really That Hard to fly RC Heli ? My Progress with Belt-CP V2

My initial steps with solitary rotor RC Helis. Verify also components 2-8. I’m not certain if I’m the only 1, but RC helis make my fingers shake. The exitement degree is so large. It’s sort of frightening … but however addictive and fulfilling. Component of the mastering for me was to suppress dread of crashing and truly focus to the flying and not to worry if something does not go just as planned. I have had fairly a lot every single time number of shut phone calls. And each and every flight so far I have created mistakes way too, it in no way goes with out one particular. So after these twelve flights I have masses of function to learn easy principles, at the stop of every single flight I practise more hovering, but I fly 1st so the I know the battery would not operate out. Specific many thanks for fantastic video clips and heaps of data and assist with RC helis: NightFlyyer and Nuttcaze !!! (Oma Interest = My Pastime, it was a concept brand for my internet site, I have absolutely nothing to do with hobby retailer or anything at all) Many thanks for observing !

damn, great flying for no more time that you spent. all i can do is hover, tail in. i do suck at this, but i refuse to give up. lol i bet i have thu a? hundred batteries

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, it’s all about practise, doesn’t really matter how long or how many flight it takes. After the series of these Belt videos I had about 1,5 years brake not flying helis, this spring I’ve got back and it’s been very very basic training? again 🙂 I’ve also got chance to try out Walkera FBL helis, like Genius CP. If you need amazing garage flyer, give it ago, amazing respond and stable to practise with. Though Belt feels bit slugish now.

Thanks AxsFin for a great vid showing your progress with the CP V2. I’ve had mine for about 5? weeks now and try and get in a daily flight. Mainly in our garage as the weather has been too unstable lately but I sure was in the same mode of thinking. If I’ll ever get good enough to get it out flying fully. After seeing this I’m more sure than ever it’s all JUST about practice and getting the confidence to get out there. Awesome vid and great flying too, huge thanks AxsFin for some good inspirati

Fantastic… I was sad about my first attempt to hover the? same heli, because it crashed and I had to order the blades and main gear, but know I’m feeling better after watching your video, I know that it is a matter of time and patience to gain control over my belt cp v2. I’ll keep trying and trying, and I’ll eventually tame the beast!

WOW that was one of the best videos i seen for an up n coming pilot…i jus made the transition from 120sr to mcpx and already learnt to hover and move left to right (took about? a coupla hours). i need to learn the turns and nose in as its a different ball game to the 120sr and msr, but im sure ill get there soon. Thanks for the vid!!!!

  • AxsFin:

hehe, put your hat back, I? wasn’t able to do nose in hover either, I had to keep the heli in movement in order not to loose it’s controls. I had HBV2 too, sold it away quite a while back, but that was the heli I really learned how to do nose in hover, and stay in it, good heli, slow respond but very stable 🙂 … anyways, it’s easier to fly circles (lot like a plane) than keep hover I think. Have a nice time with the heli ! 🙂

  • mihax209:

Omg, I’m in my 10th flight (E-Sky Honey Bee V2) and i still can’t do a nose in hover.i? take my hat off to you sir, good job

Good on ya mate. Good video. I got the Blade 450 yesterday and am taking it slow. My first flight only got 6 inches off the ground but I did not crash it. I was thinking how the F*** am I going to fly this thing??? Your video has shown? me that it is normal to feel this way. When the weather gets better I will have my next flight. Thanks!!

  • AxsFin:

Well, micro and big coaxials are good way to start.? I did too, and could’ve never handle single rotor without them 🙂

Do you mean tail torgue ? Well with tail blades obviously, and ‘coz this is belt driven, the angle of tail blades are changed to turn either left or right. And there is gyro controlling the tail so the heli keeps straight, or almost atleast 🙂 If I accelerate the motor really quick the tail usually turns abit with stock electronics.

  • bingobongo32:

Wow, absolutely love it. I just started with helis so i am far behaind you. Still flyng a micro coaxial indoor.
How is the torque eliminated in a single rotor heli like yours?

Many thanks for the video, very? inspiring in doing more.

I’m a girl and learning to fly RC helis and I love it! Do you have any tips that you think would help? I have a couple videos on my? channel if you want to check them out. I subbed! Have a great day! =)

  • AxsFin:

I have about 10 vids of my Belt progress… but I could brake the first 12 flights better, gotta think about that. I didn’t have any masterplan really, just tried to learn something while having fun, or I guess it’s more like nerve wrecking fun 🙂 but you know that already 🙂 Yeah, you definetly need a simulator, any sim will do. Easiest is to? get USB sim controller if your current doesn’t hook up with PC, and then download free FMS to start with… not the best, but free.

  • kj908studio:

Heh your a pro to me ^.^? any way you could make more videos or help me out by talking to me and pointing me in the right direction that you went cuz you deffinitly got thier! How do I go about getting a sims? Still waiting for a calm day! Been so windy I am getting mad >.< but maybe tomorrow morning will be calm I am crossing my fingures cuz I dont have to work till 2 pm! Thanks bro I really need skillz and alot of luck to learn this thing and maybe fly without wrecking it!

  • AxsFin:

Well I didn’t / haven’t come a pro my self either 🙂 but I know when you recognise it’s gonna take lots and lots of practise and small steps and bit of money too, you have a very good start 🙂 If I’d do this video today, I would do it bit different, as I? don’t show enough all the preparations I had, like watching videos here for hours and hours, using sim and picking the best calm days to practise 🙂 Good luck for the future flights 🙂 and glad this video did some good 🙂

  • kj908studio:

Dude I just got a Blade? CPP2 and today was my 1st day at trying to fly it! Ontop of that the wind factor today was like 10 mph constant winds and like 25 mph gusts! >.< I was loosing hope and going threw blades left and right couldnt keep the damn thing in the air for more than 5 sec! Btw this is my 1st CP heli and I was starting to doubt my ability to learn without burning a whole in my wallet! But thanks to this video I now know I must slowly learn and not give up!

  • AxsFin:

Thanks ! “back then” I was hoping to learn how to master helis, and I was very passioned about it. But I got stuck soon after these vids. Later I was lacking the time and after winter it was hard to get back to speed… so I got more involved? with planes. I didn’t quite believe in just better parts or didn’t have guts to buy bigger heli for windproof flying. So the fire is still burning and waiting the right moment to start more intensive training 🙂

  • MrDeclansmith:

    man… you r really good student… you’ll be a good pilot someday…
helis can be addicted… especially doing 3D… you’ll shakes? ur thumbs and knees… even sweating a lot… but all I can say is… Flying 3D heli is awesome… that’s why I love it… keep going man…
