Because of to the great sum of requests for my nine Helicopter Flying ideas and policies of thumb, I made a decision to existing them this way. *1. Never Actually let your friends fly YOUR types! It is often greater to GET AN Teacher for those initial flights! They can notify if issues are you or the heli! Newcomers can not inform! This is your greatest possibility to not hurt your heli. Most hobby shops know of clubs, so dont be fearful to ask for support. #2. Never ever ever observe the tail rotor! Only look at the nose. #3. DO not endeavor nose in yet, (no make any difference what your friends EGG you on to do) . And Do not permit individuals observe you when you’re studying. They result in more crashes, simply because they usually “egg” you on and you truly feel pressured to fly for them. You see 4 of the controls are BACKWARDS in nose in. It will occur obviously later on, so do not be concerned about it now. #four. By no means fly Away till you can hover, trigger you will by no means get it back again with out crashing. People First landings are usually pricey if you might be IMPATIENT and you determine to fly away anyways! #five. Often apply hovering at eye amount. Lower is far more difficult in floor influence. #six. Get utilised to Pinching the left and most critical stick (three controls) with index finger and thumb. To be excellent at 3d, you cant enable that thumb escape for a 2nd, as any pro will explain to you. It will pay out off later, particularly if you fly with gloves on, like we do in the Midwest.. 37. NightFlyyer’s RC Helicopter Practice Program, ClearView sim version.
I have been travelling and informing helicopters for 30 years. I was fortunate to have an instructor, John Simone Jr. He was the National Helicopter Champion at the time. This is a like-minded practice session for those of you who would like to indoctrinate 4 channel helis. My steps are sword-shaped. Use little inputs, save nose into the wind. Don’t go along behind or around you, and don’t get your friends look on you when seeing. They assume way more, being unmindful that just poising a 4 channel helicopter is most indocile and why there are so few heli pilots. Don’t let them “egg you on”, or you will miss it. Bigger Gas or Electric helicopters are better to learn on because they are heavier and act smoother and less unsteady than with unimportant helis, especially if it is stormy. I agnise that this may not be “your” technique and there may be many comments. But this technique works for me and my students, so I stick to it. I will channelize my 9 heli flying tips if you PM me, but satisfy, I am waaaay behind, so be patient. The said helicopters are all from Nitroplanes. I will be engendering a chunky review and flight on each one within the week. The link for the price and availability is this. www.dpbolvw.net The simulator is a Clearview and is at large to download and take. www.rcflightsim.com I use my Esky Transmitter from the FMS sim for this. It is shut away in 3d, but is close-grained for me. .95 Good luck with your flying, be fail-safe and have fun. Dave
