Huge Mil 24 jet-powered RC helicopter (part 1)
Weighing in at almost 25KGs (56 lbs) dry and powered by a 12KW (15.7 horsepower) gas-turbine engine, this Mil 24 scale RC model helicopter is truly magnificent.
In this video, filmed at the 2012 ANZAC international jet rally held in Tokoroa New Zealand, we see some shots before, during and after assembly — plus there’s a short interview with the owner and pilot, Carl Hansen.

Incredibly large jet-powered coaxial RC helicopter
This is a huge, very nice, jet powered RC scale model of the Russian KA-32a coaxial helicopter being expertly flown at the Tokoroa Airfield in February 2015.

MIG 25 engine failure on takeoff (huge twin jet-powered RC model plane)
The world’s largest jet-powered RC model of the MIG 25 suffers an engine failure on takeoff, sending it plunging into a nearby field.
Only expert flying by 18-year-old Clinton Kraidy (and a fist-full of luck) prevented major damage to the model. In fact, after a few hours of gluing — the model was once again in the air and wowing the crowds.
This is just some of the incredible RC model flying that took place at the 2011 ANZAC international RC jet meeting in Tokoroa New Zealand in February 2011.
