KDS 450SV maiden flight
Right here is the maiden flight of KDS 450SV with Flymentor 3D. We tried using each modes with flymentor off and on. With Flymentor on it’s a very stable helicopter and can make fantastic 6 channel beginners helicopter for new pilots to understand to fly a 6 channel heli. With or without Flymentor off it does 3D quite nicely. Enjoy the maiden flight and maiden 3D. Hi, Can I fly this heli without flymentor if i have flyed the Esky honey bee fp v2? I can hover with the honey bee fp v2 and fly circuits slowly.

@BrettLovesLlama yes its stock setup. Leejaehong modifies helis to do those ripping 3D
is this stock setup? because i saw some of LeeJaehong’s vids of him flying. i dont know if it was the same heli but he was going crazy with it!!
@tohardd Only basic stuff. Also flymentor doesn’t work well in bright sunshine. or on bright sunny days i should say, also its good for 3 meters alt. but still its good help if you tweak it nicely you can make it work for most of your learning situations
I’m getting one should I get it with or with the flymentor and is the 3d flying held to basic stuff or can you go nuts with it on
@alishanmao no dis regard the poistion mode, try horizontal mode that doesn’t use the ccd! it will become a 3way stabilizer only… and see how it feels! i consider position mode for hover only thats why i dont use it!
if you see the sites of wakera it also shows the same description 3axis stabilizers w/o ccd… want you to compare it with horizontal mode, make the AUX1 positive, +60, +horizontal mode, -position mode!
@jbx907 No. Flymentor turns the heli into a docile one. it senses the ground and keeps the helicopter level to ground, so that Learners and beginners can learn to fly. Walkera FBL has Stabilization system to fly FBL heli and do 3D. its not for beginners.
hi alis, does the flymentor feel the same as wakera 3 axis stabilizers in their fbl models? you didn’t review much about the stabilizer!
