How RC Helis WORK with Flight Tips.

See my video on my training stand, that may help you more. I say park the Blade, and get at HB fixed pitch to learn on. You will save more money in the long run. Learn on a VW and if you NEVER crash it, then get the Porsche. LOL I use the MAS techique (0 pitch at center) for 3D, but for normal flying, I have Pitch at Low 20%, 2-40%, 3- 50%, 4-60%, and 5-90.5%. Due to tremendous amount of questions for more in depth explanations, I remade the video and tried to explain how they fly and how you should control them to make them fly. Since so few people can master moving 7 controls at once in precise coordination to fly a Collective pitch helicopter, I have added more text. If you have to pause it to read the text, please do so. I want you to succeed. Watch it again before you go out to try that new machine and if you would like my 9 Helicopter Tips for Better Success at learning, please watch my video on them. Good luck and happy flying. Dave

I’ve played some video games that required more finesse to control than a RC chopper. 😛

Thanks for the videos you have produced, they are good tutorials for those of us contemplating buying a RC helicopter. I intend to purchase the Blade 400 one day and a simulator to practice on before I get ahead of myself.
Your videos are a good resource.

@samrejijoseph Adjust your trims, move the sticks super gently and make sure there is no wind. 🙂

@sepurveda The best simulator, is one that simulates flying a T REX 450 covered in razorblades up a Niggers rectum.

  • sepurveda:

which simulator is a good one?

That’s sad how people (or should I say “kids”) complain about such little things like the music. Dave, I want to thank you for all the work you’ve done to make those vids. I learn a lot from you and all your videos. Let me tell you that after one year of learning and practicing, I now fly a simple Blade mSR to a Trex 550. Thank again for your great work.

  • vuur166:

  • dagbli:

I got a Storm 450 Carbon fiber… Have you tested it? If so, what do you think of it?

  • me69herdaily:

I am trying to find out, how much power the blade 400 produces full pitch and full power? In other words, if we would put one of those scales we use to weight fish under the helicopter, it would show how many pounds or how many kilos?

  • thercpoop:

You dont haft to hold the joystick with both your thumb and pointerfinger you can hold it however you want

  • Prttimeninja2:

I wish you did not show yourself letting the sticks go and snap back to center, When your learning, flying around, or even doing 3D you always want your fingers on the sticks at all times. Other than that, I think it should be helpful to others.
