HOW TO: RC ADVENTURES – Flying RC DRONE – Parrot AR 2.0 – An iPAD Controlled Wi-Fi Camera Quad Copter

Click Here To Subscribe! ? http://bit.ly/JOovvU – Lot’s of controversy about Flying Camera Drones & Weapon Drones lately.. I wonder what this will do to our RC Flying Hobby. Well – good as time as ever for me to pull out my camera rig. My friends – this is the AR Parrot Drone 2.0. I picked this up at my local Hobby store, PM Hobbycraft – and fly it with my iPAD 3. Pretty cool little unit. It connects to my iPAD by setting up a small WiFi Network connection – and streams LiVE Video to the iPAD for recording.

Heck – good thing I am a man of good values – because I can see a flying camera being very invasive.. Hah! No Spying for me! BUT.. this will be a GREAT Tool for me to have out in the field while filming RC ADVENTURES. Now I just have to practice flying! I hope you enjoyed the video :~)

Parrot Mini Drone review – The “Rolling spider”

The Parrot Rolling Spider is an ultra-compact, palm sized quadcopter drone controlled by a smartphone and using a sophisticated sensor array of an ultrasonic sensor, a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, a vertical camera and a pressure sensor.

http://www.parrot.com/au/products/rolling-spider/
“6 times lighter than AR.Drone and the same flight stability thanks to an autopilot based on a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer.
• Pressure sensor for the flight altitude
• Ultrasonic sensor for precision flying near the ground
• Its vertical camera at 60 fps measures the speed comparing previous image.
This ultra-sophisticated technology based on sensor data fusion makes Rolling Spider one of the world’s most stable drones.
It has an exclusive free-fall take-off mode: its engines start when you drop it.
Capture aerial views with the vertical mini-camera.”

Parrot AR Drone and Gyro Flyer – RC Helicopters Race

www.stuff.tv is the best place to go for all things tech. This week, on the Stuff.tv Show, Jools and Lucy have got their hands on two (very different) R helicopters…but which is best? Clearly, the only way to find out is to build a race course and let them loose.
