Rc-Help.com Flight School Part 3 Setting Up The Helicopter

rc-assist.com Alright, so you have practiced on the sim and assume you are all set to go flying. Nicely, I would like to action back again and do a few points to your helicopter so that it will fly a tiny simpler. If you panic and slam the stick down, it won’t drop like a rock. The very first thing you will want to do is modify your pitch settings. In this compose-up, I will use the DX6i as the example transmitter (Tx) as this is the Tx that I use myself. In the Tx, go into the pitch settings menu. You want to alter the Regular pitch settings from your existing settings (mine are forty five, 47.5, fifty, seventy five, a hundred) to 60, 65, 70, seventy five, 100. What this is likely to do is alter your pitch at lower stick to about 1° positive pitch. If you chop the throttle (lower the stick in a panic), it will even now have a little pitch to let it drop a small slower to the floor. This will save your helicopter from some injury because of to hitting the ground way too tough. Another point that you want to make confident of is how tight your blades are in the grips. In this write-up, I will presume you are utilizing a 450. But, in my videos you will see me flying anything at all from a 250 to a 600. This is since the 250 can suit in smaller locations the 450 is a great all all around helicopter and the 600 can withstand the wind when I am flying in sturdy winds. When you setup your blade grip tightness, it will be various for each of the three helis. The 250 will have a light grip, but will nonetheless hold the blades up when you hold the helicopter sideways and the blades

Sorry for the late reply. In this series, I’m going for those that have purchased the collective pitch heli’s and are wondering where to go from there. coax helis are very easy to fly, and really dont’ need any coaching. Fixed pitch does need coaching, but again, this was going after those that jumped into ccpm. I have thought about making one for the fixed pitch though. Just give me time. @nordicskier93 I did all of the modding on this Tx myself. If you do a search, look for “DX6I Customization”. It will go through all of the steps that I have done to get my Tx to this level. Other than the backlight, the inside is all stock though.
