Blade 400, RC Helicopter, High Visibility Canopy

This is one of my first outdoor attempts at my new Blade 400 3d RC Helicopter. I have recently moved up from the Blade CX2 and am still working to get as much flight time as I can on this new toy. I have upgraded the gyro to GY401 and tail servo to a 9257 along with the others servos to Hitec HS-65MGs. I fitted the Mini Titan canopy and applied some Hi Vis decals for the Mini Titan which are a great help to me while learning, I am not sure I will keep them on permanently yet? I chose to upgrade the electronics at the start rather than later and I think it has made it easier to fly. I will take the gyro and servos across to a Trex or similar if I am still interested in the hobby in the next 6 to 12 months. So far so good, this is great hobby, very challenging for someone new to it like me and I can see this being very addictive! No crashes as yet…

Yes I did have to cut the tail push rod, I ended up drilling the left over rod that was stuck in the ball link out so that I could glue the rod back into the plastic ball link. I have the GY401 and 9257 and it holds really well, the 520 should be excellent!
