Yeah, it’s a solid chunk of gear. I will be sticking with it until there
are major advancements in transmitters. Other than some of the open source
ones, I’m not seeing nearly enough compelling reasons to change. All the
advancements as far as features go are tiny babysteps. For the price, the
displays on these things are pitiful. If I can walk around with a super
computer with a high density display in my pocket, then these things should
be offering more to users for what we pay for them.

I’m still using the DX7 which is the radio I bought when I got into the
hobby in 2009.
