Avatar Z008 4 Channel $40 RC Helicopter Review
This is the avatar z008 4 channel rc helicopter, I plucked it up from ebay for a little under .00 Flight time 5 or 6 minutes, charge time 20 minutes from USB charger or 45 minutes from the transmitter. Very balanced and fast, looks enthusiastic, mostly metal frame. It has fans on either side that control gone forth proper turn over, a fan on the back that controls forward change by reversal motion, and concentrical rotors that keep it stable and control yaw, it’s a lot of fun, and it’s very dead, but it is mode one, meaning throttle and turn over are on the gone forth stick and spin around and forward change by reversal are on the proper stick, if you’ve been winging mode 2 for an abundant time it’ll take a little getting utilized to, but if you’ve only ever winged 2 and 3 channel helicopters then it will just be an additive appended channel of control for you.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Hey Taoist, love your videos. Not really mode 1 otherwise the throttle would be on the right but I know what you are saying. I also noticed whe you were flying it around the office’s that you flew it like 3 channel (turning the heli to correct flight path rather than side shifting) Have you tried the s107? It is my fav 3ch micro at the moment.
Mode 1 is used in Australia for virtually all RC Helis – (but not airplanes) , Britain uses both and USA mode 2.
To reverse mode on this – open the remote and desolder (sodder for Americans) and switch the three wires from one side to the other (with care not to lose the plot) – if the potentiometers are of different values – switch those too.
u USA guys dont have a logic :P… but anyway this helo is the best after “Nine Eagles 312A Bravo III” taoistflyer could try it some day and make video. I would think u like it because u like also Syma 008.
u USA guys dont have a logic 😛
I hope you can send me one because i really want one but i don’t have money to buy one.And i want to try flying one.pleassse
.
Try to answer again:
Mode 1 and esp 4 are mostly liked by people flying airplane models. (Mode 4 looks like mode 1, but left and right sticks are switched (als pitch and nick are switched)
Mode 2 and 3 are (opinion) easier to learn.
Also in europe all 4 versions are found (and also drag can be push or pull).
@vlad087 I think mode 2
does ireland use mode 1 or 2
great vid it helped alot
if you remove the flashing led’s you can get a longer flight time
@bigednycles i think they updated their site to say 4 ch, but they are out of stock their.
@dibber1145 i really is stable and fast, and if you can fly a 3 ch heli then you can fly this one since the control set up is basically the same.
I think that the reason this one is mode 1 is they basically modified a 3 ch transmitter, which has yaw and pitch on the left.
@lilcenzo I don’t know if their is one, but it should be mode 2 if i had my way.
@fishypaw Thank you, another mode 2 flier for the list, still no mode one fliers yet
@spektrum33
I’m still not sure what parts of the world use mode one.
@Iersel7 thanks, I’m going to make a list of what countries use what mode and post it on this vid.
so far no mode 1 fliers have stepped forth
Very nice Video i m interested with this one, 4 Channel heli is better than 3 channel.
you scare me
he taoist the xheli.com site sells them but they say its a 3 channel heli not 4 channel
lol toys… fly real things like t-rex insteed! and i dosent knows anyone who flyes mode 1!
Thanks for that excellent video you made my mind up what to get these look like they fly great compare to the three channel micro heli
what’s the standard mode in asia?
great video keep it up!
great video,well here in Croatia (Europe) most of people are flying on mode 2! best greetings from Croatia
Coolness. Gotta ask you — what do you do at work to get unrestricted access to all those offices, break room, medical facility, training auditorium, office bullpen, warehouse, etc., all completely devoid of people?
