Venom Ozone 3 channel R/C Helicopter

The Ozone three channel R/C Helicopter is designed to be stable and straightforward to fly for the rookie, with just sufficient maneuverability for the much more superior pilot. The 13″ counter-rotating rotors supply the stability, whilst the horizontal tail rotor provides pitch handle. Yaw is controlled by various the speed in between the two major rotors. There is no roll manage, but 3 channels makes it less difficult to discover fundamental helicopter maneuvers. The Ozone arrives prepared to fly. Charge the LiPo battery, place 4 “AA” batteries in the transmitter and screw in the antenna. www.rcuniverse.com www.rcuvideos.com http www.kaango.com

@TheBeatSmith I tried to send you a message, but I need to be your “Friend” in order to write you. Please accept. I have the links for you. Thanks

@Chadfish – I have not seen the Tricopter kit you are speaking of but if you are thinking of using it for aerial video photography, then a four prop system would offer more stability…..but hey, even this old dog could learn a new trick….I use my gaui to video homes for sale and I have tried just about everything..I have a draganfly six rotor and it’s great…much more stable but a little overkill for small home gigs……forward the info on the kit…..I will definitely look into it…..

@TheBeatSmith Thanks for responding. I’ve watched some Gaui 330x videos. Pretty cool. I’m actually interested in this 160.00 tricopter kit that a lot of people are building. There’s a thread all about it at RC Groups. It seems more stable than the Gaui 330x footage I’ve seen. Less JelloCam! Thanks for getting back to me. I am waiting for Ozone 3 parts! Man the shipping is a scam! 4.00 for parts, 9.00 for shipping. Nice…

@Chadfish – Sup Chadfish…..with regards to your question….no…the venom is not able to lift a gopro in a controlled manner….plus it eats the battery life up……This heli is truly just for kicks….I have broken mine serveral times trying to fly it with even the smallest ccv camera……and if the is a tree or some other obstruction….it will find it….I find that the Gaui 330x is a good beginning platform for the gopro….but you’ll spend $500 to $750 bucks new for it heli and radio.

  • Chadfish:

Does this have enough lift to carry a GoPro Hero camera?

You should invest in an external mic. I can barely hear you

Hey wow Chris I love this review on the RC Venom Ozone I just got my helicopter 5 days ago but just unpacked it 2 days ago. To me this video seems professional. I do agree on the fact about the skids on the bottom but my thought was to put wax on it to prevent it from getting rough or unstable. I’m hoping to see more on videos on the RC Venom Ozone. May I ask questions that my father and I may have on helicopters? Thanks
