blasteronline.com is no longer selling this helicopter, but you can locate versions of it on xheli.com and a few other sites. It is made from strong plastic, it is easy and fun to fly, music by my brother and his band the black acid prophets.
This is my second home-made helicopter design. The first one used a home-made motor but people had problems making their own motos so I designed this one which uses a standard GWS IPS motor. The canopy on this one is actually a MIA canopy. 🙂 Free plans can be downloaded from www.enrarot.net

there wear a few lawsuits brought forth by silverlit the company that made the picoo z slash havoc heli because of the rotor they used, but the canopy was an original micro gear design as far as I know.
i wonder if there not making them anymore because of airhogs… there new redesigned micro helicopter looks almost identical

The power to weight ratio is way off. Soler cells are pretty heavy and don’t generate the high amp current needed to stay in the air.
The added weight of the soler cells would actually decrease flight time.
For soler powered flight you need a large glider with big wings covered in soler cells.
whats the battery capacity on this? couldnt it be possible to attach small solar panels to trickle charge the heli as its on the move to extend flight times?

Isn’t this the same one they used to sell at brookstone ? I broke the main rotor and I am having a hard to finding replacements. Brookstone no loner sells the kits or the heli.

It uses an old 3-in-1 controller. The helicopter is almost six years old.
do u use a tail gyro or is it a controller directly connectet to the reciver?
@beerpongmasterss Actually the higher RPM, while certainly not the only factor, do play a fairly major role in the top forward speed of any size helicopter. Not the RPM of the motor, but of the main blades.

thats bullshit, helicopters speed has nothing to do with rpm.
i have discovered a motor that can go 120000 rpm that will make helicopters go 500mph.its true i will post it on ut very soon.
