RC Helicopter Stabilizer/Autopilot – ME135

The controller we built stabilizes the helicopter in the plane parallel to the ground (the roll and pitch), stopping the heli from tilting/swaying. We are still controlling the helicopter’s height and rotation (yaw) with the distant control, which is the cause of most of the error in this flight.. The first few seconds of the flight are the best example of the stabilizer working, before it is pushed. the little coggle is it working. For ME135, Spring 2010, UC Berkeley.
