@Cybinary Thanks for the response. I’m going to check my LHS for fuselages now 🙂 I really want a Jet Ranger, but the 222 looks sweet also.

  • Cybinary:

No modifications to the lepton. I did need to shorten the boom on the fiberglass fuselage due to the fact it was built for a TRex500 and the Lepton tail boom is a little shorter. I also had to create a new mount point for the air frame in the fuselage. But no mods to the Lepton itself.

  • LloydGod:

Looks nice. I also fly a lepton and am thinking of putting a scale fuselage on it at some point.
Did you have to make any modifications to the lepton to fit the fuselage?

  • Cybinary:

    Thank you 😉

  • Estara:

That may in fact be the most stable airwolf that I have ever seen. very nice work!

  • Cybinary:

About four years. This is my first scale attempt, I have had 4-5 other helis in my fleet at different times as I progressed. Currently my primary heli is a Logo 400 VBar and I REALLY enjoy flying it!

  • RMEProd:

Nice heli and some good flying! Can’t believe w/all the advances in RC flying (carbon fiber blades, FPV cameras, etc., etc.,) batteries still only allow less then about 10 minutes of flight time! How long you been into RC helis?

  • clankm:

It’s just that. I have been a huge fan of airwolf back in the day. I’m kind of a geek about it like you.. lol. We all wish we had a real airwolf so using the sounds for imagination is funny, but also cool as hell. I hope to fly as good as you someday so I will feel confident flying a small scale airwolf. What you are doing is a dream for me. I currently have about 8 hours on the sim and still going. Peace.

  • divalover159:

@clankm really? woow, well it is funny hearing those sounds and seeing an RC airwold fly arouind.

  • clankm:

LOL, when it switched over to the airwolf sounds I just about died laughing.

  • gubber123456:

  • divalover159:

i’m not sure since its been awhile since i’ve made this video. i got it online. i think if you type in rc airwolf you’ll find it. but yeah that rc airwolf was bad ass. if you go to ebay i thank you can find one there. their really cool. would really love to have one myself.

  • TheTuberyou9:

What video was at 3:45? That one looked particularity accurate and I noticed it had retracting guns.

  • theturngroup:

I found a Custom Vario Big Airwolf Ready to Fly Shop that you can buy these Large Scale Airwolf RC Helicopters already built and customized to your specifications. Just Google Custom Airwolf.

  • lolekgh:

  • beardeddragster:

All I can say is WOW, that is a really well made helicopter, Have you scaled it and I’m loving the gas turbine engine….V nice

  • c00nhunterjoe:

yeah, that is good flying, most of the time it flies like a real chopper.

and the camera guy has a steady hand

  • zimus:

I must say that the pilot, editor, and the camera man did an excellent job. That was the best Airwolf rc flight I’ve ever seen.
