Novus cp nano size helicopter – living room flight

I couldn’t resist acquiring one of these so I can fly about whilst I am charging batteries for my other helicopters. I’ve crashed into pavement 3 instances and hit the walls inside at least six occasions…. Just destroy the throttle right away and there’s fundamentally no hurt completed in a crash, other than my blades are chewed up…. Fixed these with a piece of tape. Really in this video the blades have been repaired 3 times by now… lol Nonetheless flies as very good as it ever before did. It’s a entertaining toy if you can already fly, but a bad selection to consider to understand on…. Unless you have an incredible sum persistence and commitment.

When I say twitchy i mean a really fast cyclic response… It’s best to practice in the sim with a faster helicopter then the one you plan on flying in real life… in my personal opinion…

@LloydGod hello, I just got mine nano, im from Argentina and my english is not that good, could you please explain to me what did you do with the twitchiest? donΒ΄t know what that means. thanks

    Nice skills bud.

    @ejb1984
As long as there is no wind, it’s fun. Anything more than a light breeze blows it around like crazy.

  • ejb1984:

how good does it fly outside

  • mrrocks3578:

how much did it cost u i am looking for one and i have found prices ranging from $60 to $290 on different websites

  • LloydGod:

@NtBrokenparts If the blades are not completely destroyed. Just use some clear tape to repair them. Make sure the blades are balanced after adding tape or it will be a bumpy flight…. Also, find the twitchiest helicopter in your sim and practice in idle up with high rates. I found this helped me a lot with this helicopter.

  • NtBrokenparts:

just ordered some training gear and flybar weights, hopefully I can stop chewing up these blades.

Just bought my cp nano, this little buger is tough to fly, my house is way to small! I can fly a 3d heli in G5 so I figured I would opt for this. Its tough but fun, have to wait until its a little less windy outside

@DaGhost1978 In this video I’ve been flying helicopters for 1 year and 3 months. It ook me about a month to get comfortable with the basic tail in and side in hover. nose in took a lot longer. I learned slow forward flight before I learned to hold a nose in hover

  • DaGhost1978:

Good flyin how long did it take you to get to that point of hovering ?

  • LordBongSnipa69:

all i can say is nice bachelor pad/ crash pad and all i can say is novus cp heli’s are awesome and nice flying i just got mine 2 days ago and finally mastering the hover thanks 4 the vid

  • LloydGod:

The blades carry very little momentum and there is no clutch to allow the main shaft to spin if the motor stops.
    No autorotations with this helicopter.

  • rockonmyfriend:

im guessing this guy doesnt autorotate does it…

b0b95eg probably just got an improperly set up heli like LloydGod said. That happened to me a few months ago with a different model heli and it was impossible to fly. Helimax is usually good with their customer support. If I happen to get a bad part (rare) they usually just send me a new one.

  • LloydGod:

also be sure to search some RC forums such as helifreak… You can learn about common helicopter problems and their solutions. It’s possible you got an improperly setup helicopter as well.

  • LloydGod:

This helicopter is very tricky to fly. As a general guideline… the smaller the helicopter the harder to fly it..
If you are serious about learning RC flight you should get a quality RC flight sim and practice practice practice. I use realflight g4.5 but there are others as well.
For a first helicopter i recommend Hirobo SRB Quark. It’s safe and very forgiving of pilot error. Very durable in a crash, and very fun for living room and park flying.

I bought this on impulse a few weeks ago. I did’t want to fool wth the cheap toys so I got this one. Big mistake, it seems like the controls are out of wack. It’s like you have to push the sick north to go west and west to go east and so on. So when I first take off and try to correct for it veering off it just gets worse and it crashes. Also it’s kinda scary for indoors. I wouldn’t want it to hit someone when it’s reved up.

  • LloydGod:

the tail motor burnt out after 20 flights or so.. πŸ™ the Walkera double brushless version is a better choice.. same helicopter with better parts out of the box.
