How to make the best helicopter training gear for a dollar
This is an improved helicopter training gear that prevents helicopter crashes on landing in breezy conditions for novice pilots. It is much stronger than commercially available models and only costs about one dollar. It is made with wiffle golf balls and 3 foot bamboo stakes which are available at most home and garden stores and nurseries.

Would think the bamboo would be much heavier than carbon fiber, and noticed that solid not hollow rod are the way to go as stronger. Mine is of cheap plastic tube as could not find CF rods and are attached with only two elastic bands on the landing gear. it worked for me for a while! Thanks for the tips anyway

you can use either rubber bands or zip ties (tie wraps) <- same thing

i used twist ties or plastic zip ties to attach it to the landing gear
