Have you ever heard of that 4 channel Z008 Avatar helicopter? Would you like to review it?
allright ali. if you read my other post 1st you know ive just got one of these 🙂 nd would you do me a big favour and do a little video on how to fly these as we are such good mates 🙂 or you have to send me the trexx 🙂 lol
@GoyDrumming lolz but i wanted to get one! and seeing the times u told me i dont think its worth it lol. thanks
@tumidekona Mine takes 1hr 20mins to charge and it says on the instructions 6-7mins but mine lasts for at least 10!
Just got one for Christmas and it just spins to the right, I tried adjusting the trim but even when its all the way to the left it just keep spinning.

@Tepai1987 ohhhh do u think its worth buying this? i mean if it was the opposite like charge time 15 mins and flight time 45 mins then it might be worth. i dont know! i want to get one for my cuzen but it just doesn’t sound worth the time.
@tumidekona : charge time was about 30minit – 45minit..and flight time was around 15minit..
@bobojeff123 the s031 is great…. its more for outdoors than for indoors, the only backdraws are the battery duration and the plastic rotor holders…. i have both and prefer the s031 rather than the s032
how long does it take to charge? and how long can it be flown for?
@Tepai1987 whats the charge time and flight time?
wow u have alot of rc stuff
@bobojeff123 no it well better i got it $40 and i think it is amasing i would recemend it
i just bought one.. it was the greatest.. =)
However, you have to make sure you do not descend to quickly when in idle up without a governor because you will overspeed the engine. I usually switch to normal if I’m going to descend quickly.
I seem to remember at sea level, I ended up with the following curves on my Raptor 30: 0-25-45-65-100 for normal, and 100-85-65-85-100 for idle up. With these curves I was able to maintain the speed of the blades pretty constant at all points on the throttle curve. For example, in normal when I go from a hover to a full climb my speed stayed roughly at 1700 rpm on the blades, and when in idle up for 3d my blades stayed roughly at 1900 from a hover to a full climb.
Also depending on which elevation you are at, you will have to adjust the mixture on your engine to achieve the correct performance. Last, you will need a tachometer to measure the speed of the blades at hover which should be at the 3/4 position on the throttle stick and about 1700 in normal, and 1900 in idle up. So you will be adjusting the 4th point on your throttle curve to do this.
Also you may have to adjust your endpoints in the radio so that the pitch servo does not mechanically bind at the extremes. The same for the throttle, you should start at a curve 0-25-50-75-100 in normal, and 100-75-50-75-100 in idle up, then adjust your endpoints so that the throttle servo does not bind at the extremes. Both the pitch servo and throttle servo may have to have the ball mounted at a different hole to achieve the correct travel.
@420choky @420choky The best pitch curve for any rc heli doing 3d is a linear -10 to +10 with 0 being when the blades are flat with no pitch. The curve in your radio should be 0-25-50-75-100 if using a 5 point curve. This is assuming that all your links in the head are set to the correct length such that your washout and arms are at the correct position when the throttle stick is at the mid position.
dude .. please .. i need to set up my 30 ..
whats the best pitch curve and throttle curve for this heli
any info would help
darn are they that big … i just won one on ebay .. had no idea how big they were
where did you buy tht 🙂 i always wanted tht one
