Worlds Largest RC Plane Crash
The world’s largest radio control plane, the 1:5 scale B-29 Superfortress, with a Wingspan of 29.5 Ft and weighting in at a whopping 300 pounds.. It crashed.
Currently resides in Ankeny, Iowa at the Iowa Heritage of Flight Museum at the Ankeny, Regional Airport. Where the expo was located.

Never understood big RC flying. I knew a guy who spent years…years building this big thing and it literally spent about 20 seconds in the air before coming down into a pile of balsa. I'm guessing crash landings are more prevalent than "good" ones with such things. From what I've seen(limited) it's because the operators attempt to fly them like the real things.
Why am I laughing at the poor guy that wrecked it?
The plane seemed seriously underpowered for it's size. A sharp nosedive into the runway with a giant, fiery explosion would have been cool. The only good thing that came out of that crash is that group of flyers won't have to hear for the rest of time from the know-it-all, loudmouth asshole of the bunch how he was the one who talked his "buddy" down to a safe landing.
