hi, i have both of them, rc plane and rc helicopter, it really depends where do you live, if you live in a town, you will love helicopters, if you live in an open area or near an open area (big area) you will love planes and helicopters… if you want to fly outside, go with planes, a slight breeze would make the helicopter you want be out of control and get involved into a crash, with a plane, you just fly it against the wind and thats it… that doesnt mean that all the helicopters will crash if there’s wind, some 4 channel and 6 channel helicopters will handle good the wind, the helicopter you have is a 2 channel (a toy), the plane you want, its a 2 channel too (a toy) i have a 4 channel plane and helicopter, i have no problems with them, they both fly pretty fast but the plane kicks my helicopter’s ass when i do race with my friends.

if you crash with the helicopter, something could break, if you crash with the plane, nothing happens and if it breaks, get some hot glue and tape and thats it, good luck my friend!

well it depends it takes less skills to fly a plane due to the fact it just keeps going forward but a heli (helicopter) can go forward backward drift left to right turn left and right and inverted to me planes are too easy and can get boring but it depends on your skills and BTW your plane and heli that you showed me are toys they can break and then you wont have any replacement parts to fix it and fly again if you want to get into the hobby go for help at helifreak.com if you like helis or rcgroups.com if you like planes and be sure to buy stuff from good rc companies like e-flite for beginner helis parkzone for all types of airplanes align and outrage for aerobatic or “3D” helis outrage i personally learned to fly from a hobbyzone champ with is a company from parkzone that plane is good for beginners very easy durable and has full parts in case of a bad crash but if you want to learn helis get the blade msr or SR 120 from e-flite or you can get a pheonix flight simulator then ounce you mastered that go get an align trex 450 sport or pro (the pro is a little more fragile due to the torque tube tail assembly) all of these products can be found at http://www.horizonhobby.com/
