poetry in motion
and me as a beginner with the big one of the revell trying to handle 🙁
thats very nice
@girrocks12345 Wow, impressive and thanks for the info. Have a great day.
@MightySaturn5 Continued: The power of newer motors that support higher voltage batteries is incredible. The power is easily double the amount shown in this video. If you have any more questions, feel free to shoot me a message.
@MightySaturn5 12s is the same weight or just slightly heavier than 6s. It’s a higher voltage and lower capacity. WIth lithium batteries, you run the batteries down until they’re about 3.7 volts. With a 12s system, the batteries are about 3/5 the MAH (capacity), but because of the higher voltage, you get the same flight time, if not longer. The newer motors weigh just about the same amount as the one here. Some are a little heavier, and others are slightly lighter.
all move is in his mind he can fly also he’s blind ^_^ ..
my god amazing skill for me lift up&down that T-Rex is ok for me 🙂
i can’t risk like that lol
if i was in that helicopter, id instantly puke at the take off
HAX
@girrocks12345 Yeah, I paused the video pretty quickly after he started flying it to write my previous comment however after resuming it I could tell it was electric, but still there are lots of guys (like myself) that didn’t know this type of control was possible.
btw -is the 12s heavier or about the same weight/size as the 6s and does it have a higher voltage, capacity or both? Is the new larger motors weight offset by the power increase it provides or does it weigh the same as the one here?
@MightySaturn5 This heli doesn’t even have much power, believe it or not. In this vid, Alan is using the old stock 600xl motor from Align. It’s electric if you couldn’t tell….there’s no exhaust 😉 . Nowadays we have much powerful motors, and most people who fly this size heli use a 12s battery instead of the 6s battery used in the vid.
The power to weight ratio must be extreme with this copter, any idea of the engine used here (combustion? electric? etc.)
@gurvien
nice explain 🙂
@gurvien
nice explain 🙂
@MazirIsHere Which is why you change the pitch of the blades. You’re an idiot if you think this is fake and haven’t done any research to back your claims. Think of a regular fan, notice how the blades are pitched at an angle? This angle determines the air flow direction. You change the pitch of the blades and the air flow direction changes as well, without having to change the direction of spin. Common sense.
button mashing at its finest!
kinda like a mental dragon fly
Awesome moves!!!
this helicopter can cut you head like a tomatoe u.u
@unlivingmark ALOT
great man
@hypothesies1 Have you ever heard of 3D animation? Im not saying this IS fake, I wouldnt know, but I am an animator for a living, and do know you could fake this.
thats not really a helicopter, duh
Yeah, I have it. Yesterday I was flying it trying to shave off my freind’s hair.
@ARG2COOL
Yeah, we have loads more fun than regular people.
@Lexesbenz I’m sure he could have done better with a more powerful heli. I have a 600xl (the motor used in this vid) in my 600, and I can’t push my helicopter much more than alan did in this vid. The original Trex 600 was a terrible design in the first place. It really should have been a 10s minimum machine.
