mCP X Backyard Flying micro RC Heli

Just a little gentle fun in a narrow backyard, sorry no 3D, with this brushless Blade mCP X RC helicopter. This was one of my girlfriend’s very nice first attempts at learning to use the little Canon PowerShot A620 camera.

Wind speed was 2-5 mph, gusts to 8 mph.

Motor is a C05M w/ Steve converter and XP-7A ESC, tail 120SR, 3 bearing Microheli frame and swashplate, dual stock batteries, and Henseleit TDR like paper canopy (find it here at Helifreak http://bit.ly/st4Zya ).

Jason, our resident heli expert, flies the simple fixed pitch E119 from Eachine. It’s not vaguely aerobatic but it’s not meant to be. It’s super stable and that is what is important for first time pilots of RC helicopters.

Filmed by Dom Mitchell for the ‘Essential RC’ YouTube channel using the Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder. Jason flies the RC heli.
