@BJ72664301 try resting the heli upside down (on its main rotor), then proceeding to take off from there. if that doesnt work, try simply throwing it while held upside down.

@danielvincentkelley Anyhow, I was just thinking about being stuck in that situation, with the throttle being dysfunctional and the heli blades spinning out of control, while having my hand under the helicopter holding onto the landing gear. So! I wanted to suggest you add an annotation to this video, stating how VERY dangerous what you did is and that a number of options avail to avoid this, like a concrete block and a big hose clamp…
I got a heli max axe 400 3d aerobatic heli. I thought it was ready for flight. I brought it to the side yard, decided to just spin up the blades, not to fly it, just to check the working of the remote and heli, make sure all the controls work proper. I was stumped when the throttle wouldn’t work until it was above mid throttle, then when I cut the throttle it didn’t spin down. Eventually the heli jumped on it’s side and smashed itself to bits nicely…

ok so im just getn into rc helis and im going to start out getn the co camanche and then i want to be able to fly 6 channel some day how long you think it would take to get good enough for 6 channels
I’ve had some problems with mine. first flight the tail rotor popped out of the gear and spun out of control and crashed. That broke some of the main rotor assembly and also bent some of the aluminum T blade holder which caused one of the blades to spim much lower. ive tried fixint the blade tracking but even when i have it almost perfect it still vibrates rapidly. one stupid tail rotor design caused a lot of problems.

hey- this is normal for all single rotor helis. You need to coorect for this with your control, or hover slightly higher above the ground.

@jackopalkia be careful! they are so expensive for spare parts if you keep on crashing them, start off with something cheap and work your way up, i started off witha venom ocean rescue.
