Markus Rummer(Germany) winged world largest Electric RC Heli in Italy. Hacker A150 Giant Out-Runner motor, Jeti Spin 220 and TopFuel 14S10A Li-Po pack were utilized as the power unit.

Great video and beautiful flying, very graceful. To bad its electric, not that I have anything aganst electrics I fly them myself its just that I think the sound of a turbine would have made it much more realistic.
By the way what happened to the horizontal stab?
I also have to question whether or not this was really Italy. My Greek is really rusty but in the end the announcer is clearly heard to say Opa! Opa! Opa! is greek and it’s an exclamation of joy, like “whoopee” or “hooray”

They need stereo cameras on the chopper and a VR stereo visor to view it from. Sensors in the chopper need to transmit to a simulator chair so it moves like the chopper moves. Put the RC controls on the simulator chair just like a real chopper has. Give it a range of ten miles or so. That would be as good as actually being in the thing. 🙂
