This blew me away! I’m way more into airplanes than helicopters, but this Apache AH-64A from IndyHelis.com was unbelievable!

TRUE STORY: some guy was stupid enough to fly a heli the same size as this apache in his living room with people around

Wow, this AH64a RC is perfection, I was a GRAPE on “Big Johns flight deck” (USS Kennedy CV-67) having fun in the gulf…nuf said !!! These r great aircraft flown by the Army’s finest !!! Pilot sits behind the co-pilot slash gunner and both r Warrant Officers with a MOS of 152foxtrot. ahhh the memories… I also have luv for the Attack helicopter 64d and, I like to stare at
the RFI dome above the main rotor. i’m weird ! Each blade is capable of lead-lag. thats cool !!! ur 64a is Perfect !!!
@misteroriginal what she doesn’t know wont hurt her, besides i was thinking more on the lines of kicking out $200 bucks for the Blade cx2 and pretending it’s one of the big 1’s ….

No, we all want to see that, but this thing is flying around at an air show. Can you imagine if the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds started dropping bombs, firing missiles and guns and things at an air show? Yeah, it would be impressive, no doubt.

I haven’t a clue. The IndyHelis guys made it look easy, but I bet I would have plowed the field with it in no time.

Personally, I prefer the Hellfire missiles, but you have to go to the IndyHelis website to see those.

IndyHelis has a website where you can ask technical and operational questions about this RC helicopter. I’m just a cameraman, so I just answer the simplest of simple ones.

Except this was at the IRCHA Jamboree, a huge radio controlled helicopter air show. Can you imagine if some kid’s eye accidentally got shot out? Oh, the law suits!
