I doubt they have a controller for each engine… More like all four engines are identical and connected together (so all throttle up or down together in unison and all maintain about the same rpm… Which I believe is what one of the guys was doing holding the device in front of the engines before take off, was making sure all engines were at roughly the same rpm, which they could adjust if any were off sync)… then the actual flight control is down by the flaps on the wing and tail all fligh
