she must learn a proper hover and low flight first.hovering about one single point. longer blade must be used so she will hover calmly
That contraption saved her from about 200 devastating crashes. Just need to practice hovering in one spot. Not easy but your brain eventually figures it out.

I recognize the same challenges I had when learning to fly. The tail drifting on me and the heli wanting to go left when in prop wash etc. She was doing great though. How is she doing now a days?

I would just start by flying a little helo the size of your hand. Get good flying it around the house. Maybe land it on your head.
And play lots of Battlefield.
I cracked the tail fin to my big one the first night flying it! (the booze and street lights didn't help much)
