3D Helicopter Demo by Dave Herbert (NightFlyyer) plus an “Orientation TEST” for you.

*Heli 3D Test. If you can follow my delicate 3D flight and can tell exactly what I am performing the whole time with the transmitter sticks, then you are most likely all set for 3D helicopters. At this stage the mastering method will begin once again! Seeing other folks fly will help me, so possibly this will help you. That is my objective…..to assist so you never discover the difficult way like I did. Yes the sun does shine here in Iowa occasionally and the initial flight today was that way, but the second was a bit windy and cloudy. Hmmm..again to typical! We have to discover to fly in the wind right here, or we would never ever get to fly at all, and with these Previous EYES it is wonderful to have some sunlight shining on the model so a man can see it…..particularly with no his orange pontoons! LOL. Remember “If it sounds stupid but it functions, it ain’t silly!” Thank you for seeing, subscribing, and all your ongoing assist. @brangyrc411 So i’ll email you all info i have on leveling and setup your heli you will find very interesting, i learnt? a lot from it.

  • yowie1987:

@brangyrc411 well this just happen to me the other day trying to learn to hover, lol. But there are a few things i can think of, first is your swash? plate settings in your Tx like in my DX6i has two settings 90deg or 120 CCPM make sure it is set to 120 CCPM. The next thing is then servo direction of travel and interaction, after that is your swash plate leveling and finally is your sub trim during flight. Some of these can go into a fair bit more detail, way to much to fit on here.

@yowie1987 so I fixed the hard right thing and I went out to test it and now when I bring it up to a
high rpm again it rolls hard to the left and so? that makes me have to kill the throttle and the one
time it fell over and I cracked the blades any suggestions

That piece of deserted roadway, with a highway behind it, is reminiscent of Old 66, like here in Central OK. For a minute there Dave, I thought you were gunna try &Trick-Fly that Copter into the open-backside of your? vehicle, and exit Out the Side of it…

Love Your U.P. Steam Loco Vid too.

@brangyrc411 this happened to me a while ago on my blade 400 after i changed all my servos to align and fitted with the Castle Phoenix Ice 50. I think it turned out that the gyro or settings on the rudder channel had to be reversed i can’t remember if it was one or? both.
