Its a known as the area explorer tt891 I picked it up from slotcarsandmore.com but they do not seam to market it any more, if I locate an additional retailer I will publish a hyperlink Cost .99 Flight time six-7 minutes of reliable flight Cost time- costs from the transmitter in 24 minutes no spare elements integrated _How tough is it to fly?_ On a scale of 1 to 10 with ten being the hardest, I would say 3.five. you need some exp. _How does it work_ Its an infrared aircraft with totally practical 3 channel control. The again two rotors of the plane spin in opposite instructions counteracting each and every other folks torque. The back 2 rotors are also each and every at a slight angle to counteract the torque of the entrance rotor on the alien leap jet they called this thrust vectoring. The entrance rotor has a tiny servo connected to it that tilts the complete rotor left and proper, this is what controls yaw (spin). The front rotor also speeds up and slows down independently, this is what controls forward and reverse movement. _First flight_ Dont just consider off from your espresso table yet because it can fly rapidly and if it is not trimmed it’ll be nearly unattainable to handle and stop it from hitting a thing. It does not like to fly backwards so you require to trim it to fly a bit forward when you commence out. You can trim it to move ahead by spinning the dial in the middle of the transmitter counter clockwise. Up coming you have to trim its spin there is a dial on the upper left hand of the transmitter that controls the spin trim. When you

wtf how many rc helicopters do you have?

@imaplaylist looks can be deceiving, this thing is more picky about trim then any other aircraft i’ve ever flown, i was able to fly it and make it look good but only because of years of practice with unstable helis, if you want a stable heli you need to get a 4 channel coaxial helicopter like the blade mcx or the e sky lama, they are stable by design and will hover hands free.

  • imaplaylist:

now im jealious mostly cause that looks REALLY stable and all the helis ive had are never stable… even if i trim it.

I saw three orbs in the sky. It was NOT one of these. Thanks anyway, whoever made it, if you were trying to explain sightings similar.

@tenaciousgod I got a green one a while back, I think they have green blue and maybe one other color, but my green one had an imbalance in the motors. I’m glad they are still making them.

@randall1959 I took a look at it, this aircraft is very difficult to get trimmed, and even when it is it can have other issues because it needs such precision between all the motor speeds to work properly. small manufacturing defects can translate to large instabilities, the amount of thrust the 2 rear rotors generate as well as the amount of torque they generate needs to be balanced and since the front rotor is constantly changing torque and speed it’s a constant fight to keep it stable.

  • randall1959:

I just bought one and I don’t know if I got a defective one or if it’s just a pile of junk but mine flies nowhere near as well as this one. And it’s not like I don’t know how to fly rc either. Check out my page if you disagree. Mine flies maybe 3 minutes max and won’t trim for anything resembling controlled flight. You’re better off getting one of the micro helis that have gyros.

@koolaid180573064799 A larger 4 channel coaxial helicopter would be stable and able to carry a camera check out the x heli site and look at the big coaxial helicopter section, if it’s your first heli it’s the way to go, for a little under a hundred bucks you can get an 808 key cam and a 4 channel coaxial heli, e bay is a good place to shop for rc as well.
