Heli-Max Novus MicroNano FP Car Top Landing Outside Fun RC

Heli-Max Novus MicroNano FP Car Top Landing Outside Fun RC

Just missed the cam shot as the heli passed and dropped on the car top, outside fun as very light to near zero breeze this early morning. This one is still together due to its light weight has no serious damages. Find it abit tweaky to fly but forces me to have more heli stick corrections, perhaps not all that bad a thing.

Heli-Max Novus 200 hover testing

Basically a test run after some fine tuning, which included critical blade balancing – small addition of Scotch tape to lighter blade to match other. More practice needed to get better hover although slight light breeze intermittently affected things. This is a very good heli for 4 channel flying and duration is very fair. Only problem with this model is that some spare parts are on seemingly continuous back order, which sucks!

Helimax Novus FP 200 Heli Review and Flight

Helimax released the Novus FP 200 helicopter not long ago and I had to give it a try. This is a fixed pitch helicopter that is just too much fun to fly. The Radio is 2.4ghz and has dual rates setup on it for new and seasoned pilots and I would suggest this helicopter for the beginner and up pilot. The flight time from the 2S lipo battery is around 8 minutes, but I would suggest buying an extra battery because you will have a blast with it.

You can purchase this helicopter online from Tower Hobbies at the following link.

After mastering RC heli flying with the Axe 100 FP the next step up would be this excellent flying micro helicopter. The Axe 100 CP is capable of sport aerobatics like loops, flips, and inverted flight.

Raw Performance: Heli-Max RC UH-1D Huey RTF

http://www.helimax-rc.com/helis/novus/hmxe0808-novus-huey/index.html

With functioning navigation lights, a detailed cockpit, panel lines and scale trim scheme and jet exhaust locations, the Novus UH-1D has everything you would find on a full-size Huey — right down to the rivets. A heading hold gyro and coaxial design make this palm-sized heli incredibly easy to fly.

• Comes complete with radio, two LiPo batteries, charger and extra blades
• Besides interference-free control, the 2.4GHz radio system also features dual rates — a single switch lets you go from smooth, stable flight at low rates to maximum maneuverability at high rates
• Small enough to fly in any room, while capable of being flown outdoors in calm conditions
• Just add AA batteries, charge the included LiPo packs and fly!
