Funkey Hughes 500E scale RC heli Trex 600 mechanics
Doing the initial test flight with the new Funkey fuselage. I’ve heard horror stories of vibrations causing crashes. It flew quite smooth but did have some increased vibration after some forward flight and coming out of transitional lift. I used wood blocks to mount in the fuse and reinforced the doghouse with some light ply. Some cheap anti-collision lights were also added. Funkey makes a pretty nice fuse!

Jet turbine powered RC model helicopter (Huges 500E)
This very nice, and very expensive turbine-powered RC model helicopter was flown for the first time at the November 2010 Jet meeting in Tokoroa.
After some tweaking and trimming, it flew very well.

Micro MD 500E (Align T-Rex 250 Size) Custom Rotorhead and Lights
I just finished this develop…it is a scale head fo this 250 kit. I utilised the genuine blade grips and plastic primary blades from Align. I Set up the Align 3G flybarless stabilizer to improve handle.
