nooooooooo dont ven try u will blow up ur li-po!!!! u need a special li-po battery charger.

  • Namaste1001:

Just wondering if you can use the stock charger to charge the lipo battery?

    nice flying.

  • chickenblender:

Besides the lipo, I was using non-Esky servos and I may have been using a slightly longer flybar (don’t remember anymore). The motors and mechanics were definitely stock though. I’m currently flying a heavily-modded King and a Trex 450SE that I use for aerial photography.

  • cubiq1:

wow, nice flying. was the hbfp 100% stock? (besides 2s lipo) what bird are u flying nowadays?

  • chickenblender:

    The FP is 4 channels.

  • javipons22:

    is it a 4ch or a 6ch honey bee ?

  • HelplessMammal:

I let my wife fly my Lama which was a mistake. Now she wants her own!

  • chickenblender:

no, I soldered on new connectors. (I used Deans Ultra for compatibility with my other models, but they’re way bigger than they need to be.)

  • RcAntax:

so,wen you bought the li-po was it the same plug on it to the 4in1 unit?

  • chickenblender:

Yes (2s = 7.4V) BTW thanks for the kind words.

  • RcAntax:

    is the lipo 7,4v?

  • chickenblender:

Takes about an hour to charge and flies about 10 minutes on a pack (which is about as long as I’d want to fly anyway). It’s stock except for the use of a 2s 910mAh LiPo battery instead of the stock NiMH pack.

  • RcAntax:

nice flying mate! 5 stars;D.how long is the charge/flying time on this little machine?
    btw is it stock?

  • chickenblender:

I love my FP and still fly it regularly, even though I have a King and a HDX450 now also. I’ve also had a CP2 and a Blade CP Pro, and I do NOT own either of them anymore. They are a little more powerful, but they’re pretty squirrelly in the air and much harder to repair/tune.

I’ll fly my FP in any speed wind NOW, but it definitely gets tossed around a good bit and I wouldn’t recommend it until you’re fairly good at FFF.

  • skid987:

I’ll let you know about the diamonds….

How do you like that Honeybee FP…how is it in the wind 10mph or so?

  • chickenblender:

LOL that’s hilarious. My wife doesn’t get a big hit out of being with me when I fly, but I don’t push the issue and she’s at least OK with the idea that it’s something that I enjoy. The key is that she has an equally expensive hobby (horses) that makes no sense to me, so we get along pretty well.

And if you find a diamond-crapping heli, please let me know.

  • skid987:

Nice flying. I’m currently learning my Honeybee CP2…it is a hard ass…

You’re lucky to have a girlfriend/wife that hangs out w/ you when you fly. My wife wouldn’t help video my helicopter even if it was crapping diamonds out it’s tail rotor!

  • NightFlyyer:

    Great job.
