Firebird / Syma S107 RC Heli

The Firebird is great for ages eight and up and arrives in a option of Black, Red or Blue. You also have 3 selectable channels providing you the potential to pilot 3 of these helicopters in the exact same location at once! It is an superb indoor helicopter considerably like other helicopters of this dimensions but this is exactly where the comparisons cease! It comes preassembled and all set to fly, reinforced with an alloy metal body and skid pipes, metal tail boom and stabilizers, all the elements that typically break on other designs exactly where reinforced with metal on the Firebird. Crash resistant plastic was used everywhere else on the helicopter and wonderful treatment was taken by Helizone to test it before release! A quite positive indicator of the craftsmanship place into the design of this helicopter are the screws holding the canopy and skid pipes in area exactly where you dont even generally see this on the helicopter ten instances the price tag of the Firebird, this helicopter was constructed to be really hard and it shows.

What unfortunately there are no upgrades for this.

i went to a rc hobby shop (super badass shop) and i asked for upgrades or ANYTHING that i could add or w/e and they kept telling me theres nothing and at the end they looked at me like they felt sorry for me cuz my 9100 was a cheap heli.

and i mean it really is, especially compared to other helis, but i found this site to order spare parts or cheap prices if you wana take a look

    rc-fever DOT com

    i bought spares from here.

  • scottmmwood:

what’s better this one or the double horse 9053

  • wulffyau:

    Great little helicopter,
It goes so well outdoors and gets some serious height.
Whilst easily controlled. Big step up from the 9053.
I’ve crashed mine a couple of time at speed with no problems at all.
Bought it in Hong Kong for $28 Australian as It was cheap & looked like the 9053.
I’m so glad I did. I have micros up to 36inch, this kicks the crap out of them all.

i should learn to the pilot that flying this chopter, it;s look great in his hand.. mine’s already crashed in it’s first flight outdor.. but one thing for sure, 9100 single blade give you an awesome speed for 3ch class.. mine’s still fly well after those crashs.

  • lilnigg99:

@olsmokey just ordered mine…this looks promising

  • phiskah1:

It’s awesome, I just got mine today, thing flies like it’s on rails. I had a 9053, good trainer, had a big warehouse to fly in, I’m selling it used for nearly what I paid for it. I highly recommend this chopper to anyone ready to leave the world of micro’s & step it up & over the 9053 double horse but might not yet be ready for a 4 or 6 channel with the costs & hassles of them. Hopefully xheli will post my awesome review of this helo on their site, I love, love love it.

  • olsmokey:

Looks like a single rotor 9053 ie easy to fly but should be able to handle some wind. Mine’s ordered…

It’s like an ad for a supercar or a true scale helicopter… but it’s for a “sports” helicopter. Haha.
