You can also check the CG on a flybarless helicopter by picking it up by the rotor and holding it so that the main shaft and the tail boom are horisontal. After that just let the heli settle. If it is tail-heavy the tail will rotate toward the ground. for a more precise result you should pull? out the main gear.

Hi there,? an excellent series of videos, and very very helpful for us novices. Just one question? where do you buy those fantastic Training sets from? I cannot get a decent set anywhere in Europe, or even China where I buy most of my heli stuff from. They all seem to be flimsy plastic and very thin carbon rods. Definitely not up to the job for my Trex 500. Thanks in advance for any and all help on this problem. Regards, Ray ( Spain)
