Hey thanks for the comment you are right I thought? about that then decided to buy some electronics and scratch build. The good news is there are brushless motor versions of the wild hawk coming out and I almost bought one of them.

  • DryUrTearsBjarmi:

you really crashed it alot and broke it really bad XD maybe you can? buy a new wildhawk and make the modifications on a good new plane 😉

  • daveyedgar:

hey thanks pudd thats good stuff I’m? gonna try that!

  • daveyedgar:

ya the? wild hawk does get blown around rather easy, i had a couple good scares like that.

Dave check out Billyds aileron installation – servos were $18 for 4 on ebay ,tho i only needed 2 for the project- draw on the wing where the servos are to be sunk in and dremel it out? carefully- hot glue it in – 3-4 hours total time for the project – clear shipping tape for aileron hinges use the rudder channel for the ailerons with a Y cable – the rudder should stay straight just hooked to its unpowered servo – youll not need your rudder with ailerons

  • pudd750:

ive had my ailerons on my wildhawk for about a week – no flight yet – old saying-” what man hath doeth, man doeth again” but if i end up with a pile of white foam theres another saying-” all the kings horses and all the kings men ” – an old pro at the local? field has offered to final trim it for me – i followed Billyd’s plan to install the servos etc pretty closely – those little SG-50 servos are fast!

I hear ya ng21644605 I was able to fly the other day but the wind was so high I was flyin in one spot and slowly took the power down to a good landing, scared me, It went high then I brought it about 4-5? ft from the ground in a power glide, so now I am waitin on the wind in Okla. to slow down like it was before I had the plane, in my hand. The wind was not any HOT and no wind when I had it ready the wind was high and has not changed yet,,.
