450 Helicopter Build – Part 9

450 Helicopter Build - Part 9

Part 9, more joining of frame sections.
This may seem like a lot of videos for something simple like building heli mechanics.
However I thought it necessary to do this modular;
A, Easily update-able, if people think that I have skipped over some bits too fast, and not explained some points enough.
B. Each section is a continuous recording without having to splice the video. As I have still not worked out how to use KdenLive yet, also it gives people time to build their heli at the same time that I am building this one. Essentially they wont need to use a manual hopefully, just copy me, and everything will work out fine.

This video is a lot better in the lighting department, and no dog jumping up on the glass door.
I will do another one soon, With a whole new kit, under better light, where my Dog (Beautiful Neapolitan Mastiff) isn’t trying to get on youtube.

This video is being published so that it will hopefully stop the large amount of newcomers to RC Heli’s posting new topics on forums everywhere, asking some rather basic questions about the build and selection of parts.
These videos will be updated over time, in response to other people comments, and further questions, to get the videos as good as possible.

This video will be promoted on the HobbyKing Forum, and most all parts that I use in these videos are available from HobbyKing

Tail servo in this build is a Hitec HG-5000 and HSG-5083MG However there are other gyros and tail servos available from HK like these gyros – http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9746&Product_Name=Futaba_GY520_Gyro&aff=139781 (Expensive, and really good) OR http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10113&Product_Name=Hobby_King_401B_AVCS_Digital_Head_Lock_Gyro_&aff=139781 (a lot cheaper and still decent gyro.)
Tail Servo – http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9657&Product_Name=Turnigy_DS530_Digital_Micro_Servo_13g/3.1kg/0.098sec_&aff=139781
Also a Transmitter with 120 degree CCPM mixing and a 6Ch receiver minimum.

There will be more to follow as I get the time to upload these videos.
Feel free to make any comments, or address any issues you have, and when I update these videos soon, I will do things differently If needed to make things clearer where people request it. As I said before, this is trying to be a very comprehensive how-to to answer the questions of people new to RC Heli’s before they have to ask. If you are experienced, in Heli’s please comment if you see anything I may have forgotten. Also if you are a newbie, comment, on what you are unsure and I will endeavor to make the next update better.
